Privacy Policy
We hold two very different kinds of data: the little we collect about you, and the great deal our customers put into the software about their own business. This page keeps them apart, because the rules that govern them are not the same.
01Who we are
VETA, LLC is a limited liability company registered in Delaware, United States, with its registered address at 131 Continental Dr, Suite 305, Newark, DE 19713. We build and operate the VETA software, which companies license from us and run their business on.
For anything in this policy, write to legal@veta.do. A person reads that address.
02The two hats we wear
- Our own data. When you visit veta.do, ask us to call you, or hold an account with us, we decide what is collected and why. That is what clauses 3 to 5 describe, and we answer for it.
- Our customers’ data. When a company licenses the software, everything it loads in — its clients, its orders, its conversations — belongs to that company. We hold it and process it on its instructions, and only to run the service. If you are a customer of one of those companies and want your data corrected or removed, ask them; if you cannot reach them, write to us and we will pass it on.
03What we collect about you
- If you ask us to call you. The form on veta.do collects your company, your name, your phone number and, optionally, one line about what is slowing you down. We use it to call you back and to keep track of the conversation. Nothing else.
- If you use the software. Your name, your work email, your role, and a record of what you did inside the account — who changed a price, who sent a quote — because a business system has to be able to answer that question.
- Billing details. The name and address your company wants on its invoice, its tax number if it gives us one, and the brand, expiry and last four digits of the card on file.
- Technical records. Our hosting and database providers keep the ordinary server logs — IP address, browser, time, what was requested — which we use to keep the service secure and working.
04Card numbers never reach us
Payment cards are entered into Stripe’s own form, running inside our page. The number travels from your browser to Stripe and never touches a VETA server, so we cannot store it, lose it or hand it over. What we keep is the brand, the expiry and the last four digits — enough for your administrator to recognise which card is on file.
05Cookies and what stays in your browser
We run no advertising or tracking cookies on veta.do, and no third-party analytics. There is nothing to consent to here, which is why we do not ask.
- One cookie, veta_app, records that this browser has signed in, so that typing veta.do opens your workplace instead of our front page. It carries no identity and is set only after you sign in.
- Your session itself is held in your browser’s own storage, on your device. Signing out clears it.
06Who processes data for us
We do not sell data and we do not share it for anyone else’s marketing. We do rely on a short list of providers to run the service, each bound to use what it sees only to do its job:
- Supabase
- Database, sign-in and file storage. Our production data is held in the United States.
- Vercel
- Hosting and the edge that serves every page.
- Stripe
- Payments, cards and invoices.
- Resend
- The transactional email we send — invitations, receipts, notifications.
- Anthropic · OpenAI
- The AI assistants inside the software, and the transcription of voice notes.
- Meta · Google · Shopify
- Only where a customer connects its own accounts, and only for what that connection does.
We will also disclose data where the law requires it, and to protect our rights or someone’s safety — and we will tell the customer it concerns unless we are forbidden to.
07Artificial intelligence
The software uses AI models to draft messages, read documents and answer questions about a company’s own data. When that happens, the relevant content is sent to the provider named above, processed, and returned.
We do not allow our AI providers to use your content to train their models, and we do not train models of our own on it. A draft an assistant writes for a customer is reviewed by a person before it is sent — the software does not send messages on its own.
08Where it is held, and for how long
The service runs on infrastructure in the United States, so data is stored and processed outside the Dominican Republic. By using it you accept that transfer.
We keep an account’s data for as long as the account is open. After it closes we keep it only as long as we need to close out billing and meet our legal obligations, and we delete it on the customer’s written request. If you asked us to call you and we never became anything to each other, tell us and we drop your details.
09What you can ask us for
You can ask us to show you what we hold about you, to correct it, to hand it over in a usable file, or to delete it. Write to legal@veta.do from the address we know you by, or tell us how else to verify that it is you. We answer within 30 days.
If the data belongs to a company’s account rather than to you personally — a customer record, a conversation, an invoice — we forward the request to that company, because it is theirs to decide.
10Security
Every connection is encrypted. Data is separated by company at the database itself, not merely in the screens, so one company’s account cannot read another’s. Access inside the software is by role, and the actions that move money or delete records are recorded. Cards are handled by Stripe, never by us.
No system is perfect. If a breach ever affects a customer’s data, we will tell that customer what happened and what we did about it, without waiting to be asked.
11Children
This is business software. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect anything about anyone under 18.
12Changes to this policy
When this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. If a change materially affects what we do with your data, we tell account administrators in writing before it takes effect.
